While waiting for The Monotrons’ debut album check out the band’s new single ‘Viper’ released yesterday! The single is released digitally and available on all streaming services.

The Monotrons was started in March 2010 in Halden by Cato Haakenby (bass/vocals), Jens – Tore “Fisken” Standerholen (drums/backing vocals) and Egil Pinås (lead guitar/vocals). The band members are well-known from Halden’ bands Basement Brats, Gringo Bandido and Dieseldyra. In the beginning of 2022 Linda Haug (Lucky Malice) joined the band.

The Monotrons draw their inspiration from old good bands like Ramones, Descendents, The Nerves and The Hellacopters and create their own rock’n’roll mix of power pop, pop rock and punk rock.

Previously the band released the EP ‘The Monotrons Out Of Bananas’ in 2017. ‘Wwhell’, the first single from the upcoming debut album was released on September 16th via Westergaard Records.
